You're not going to believe this ... I was originally going to stay here in Oceanside for 2 weeks. I decided to stay indefinitely. I was talking to my parents on the phone at the beginning of the second week. My mother told me that, if I wanted to stay indefinitely, that I had their blessing. Although the idea was pleasing, I was stunned with sadness. I wasn't sure at first if it was because my parents said the right thing at the right time to me ... for ONCE ... or if it was another awkward position my parents are notorious for. I consulted with a few of my trusted friends on Facebook (one of them being my cousin, Jeanette). I listened to their words of wisdom ... and they all asked me the same question: "If this is what you want, what are you waiting for???" I even brought the matter up with my fiance, who encouraged me to make my own decisions in life. Since my initial long-term goal was to re-locate to California anyway and I couldn't stand to wait any longer to be with my man ... I chose to stay indefinitely. I know, it's a very BOLD decision on my part. My decision making has always been BOLD, sometimes for better, sometimes for worse. But I'm proud of my decision, and despite what anyone else says or thinks, I'm not going to feel any shame for it.
Of course, there are many little things I need to take care of. My Jeep is already being shipped on its way here. I've filled out two job applications, and I'm following up with both AppleOne agencies (one here, the other in Buffalo) in regards to paperwork. Oh, and it looks like I'll be back in the regular habit of posting journal entries on deviantArt again. Like it was in Las Cruces, NM, everything here relies on technology, so I have no other choice but to adapt. So bear with me if my journal entry summaries seem shallow. I'm a bit rusty.

Year 1 and 40 Days for Apple-Blossom, Bubble-gum, & Cotton Candy; Day 47 for Narcissus (yep, I changed his name!) & Subzero, Shade (died on Day 30?)
Starting a fresh new journal entry. The extensions of my latest one are getting too long already!
Some good news! My fiance was waiting for some time to hear from a company he applied to for an answer as to whether he would be hired or not. He was hired!
With all that said, I'll see you guys when I return!
